Kristina Hayes
Founder and Dance Instructor

Kristina has been teaching social dance (Ballroom and Latin) for over ten years, having worked for several independent studios in New York and Los Angeles including Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray. She was introduced to Ballroom as a teenager and became hooked. Unlike ballet, jazz and other forms of dance she had studied, Kristina loved that Ballroom was all about connection with a partner. Through her experience she has learned that no matter how late you start, you can become as good as you want to be. Providing a nurturing environment for the beginner is her specialty and getting her students to a point where they can go out and use their dancing in the real world is her goal.

Kristina opened "Waltz Through Life" three years ago and quickly became one of the most popular dance instructors in town for wedding couples preparing for their first dance. She is featured in the Spring 2008 edition of Bride & Bloom magazine and can be seen teaching a dance class to brides and grooms on "Bride & Bloom's" website.

Kristina recently traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina to study Argentine tango intensely with top instructors (including Marcelo Varela, Analia Vega, Noelia and Nahue Narsi). She says about this experience, "Once again I was reminded of how dancing changes your life. In my case, over and over again."
